We were told we needed to pay the tax first, and then we would receive our winnings. Fast forward to tax filing day. Our agent informed us that we owed additional federal tax AND thousands in state tax. We were caught off guard and needed help. I went to the library and started to fill out the necessary forms. In a panic so close to tax day I needed to get an answer about this new taxes. My calls were not returned, by my tax firm over the weekend. So I called David Biedebach a Tax Analyst at Anderson Bradshaw Consultants. David was one of the first CPA’s who really listened, not talking over me ( rare trait). He gave me sound advice letting me know that the tax situation was fixable, not to worry about things. We can do this! And we did.

For those familiar with those calls you know how tome consuming that is. We eventually got confirmation and clarity on the issue. I was expecting to pay a consultation fee, but he graciously told me he did it gratis. I thanked him for his generosity and kindness. I give the firm a rating of 5.
